We make personal fragrance you can buy today, and we build the scent identities that brands are recognised by. Both come out of the same atelier, made by the same perfumers.
Who We Are
Perfumers first, everything else second
SMOVF began as a perfumery bench and grew into a scent company. We still compose every formulation ourselves rather than buying it in — which is why we can put the same scent into a bottle, a candle and a hotel lobby without it drifting apart.
That single capability is what lets a customer buy a 50ml bottle from us on a Tuesday and a brand commission an exclusive scent on a Wednesday, and get the same standard of work both times.

The Founder
Moni Leong
A certified perfumer trained at the UK Perfume Academy, and a property industry figure of eleven years' standing.
Moni Leong founded SMOVF Fragrance and is Managing Director of Insides CoLiving Sdn Bhd and SMOVF BNB Sdn Bhd. Her career in Malaysia's property industry spans more than eleven years.
That work has been recognised twice. She received the 2022 Consumer's Choice Award for delivering outstanding value and customer satisfaction, and was celebrated the same year in the Successful People in Malaysia Book Record — a distinction marking her impact on the property sector.
She is also a certified perfumer, trained at the renowned UK Perfume Academy. That training, and a deep interest in how a fragrance is actually built, is what sits behind every formulation this house puts its name to.
SMOVF Fragrance is her answer to a gap she kept finding: premium quality and a fresh approach, combining local influences with contemporary design, in scents people remember. The brand is building a following in Malaysia and looking outward from there.
